At Sran Family Orchards, farming has always represented opportunity, responsibility, and family. Our roots trace back to the 1970s, when Navdeep Sran originally immigrated from northwestern India to California with the hope of building a better future through agriculture. What began as a small family endeavor grew through years of what he calls, "determination, sacrifice, and commitment to the land."
Now led by the second generation, Sran Family Orchards has expanded across California’s Central Valley and coastal regions while staying true to the values that built it. For our family, farming is not simply about producing crops, but it is centered around preserving this way of life. It is the srans' mission to care for the land responsibly in order to create something meaningful that can be carried forward for generations to come.
Family farms remain the backbone of American agriculture. In fact, nearly 97% of farms in the United States are family-owned, supporting rural communities and passing integral agricultural information down to the next generation. This is an essential industry for obvious reasons i.e. feeding families across the country, but it also creates opportunity for hardworking families pursuing the American Dream, In statistical terms, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce cites that the agriculture and food industries support more than 34 million American jobs and contribute over $1.5 trillion to the U.S. economy.
in sum, the impact of agriculture goes far beyond the orchard. the Sran Family Orchards team is proud to contribute to that legacy through organic farming practices rooted in family, sustainability, and long-term care for future generations.

wow, I love the Srans, so motivated, so talented! this blog is one of a kind!
